My interest in skincare started about 10 years ago after a cream I bought from the market damaged my skin.
I developed dark knuckles, hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone.
I desperately wanted to fix my skin, but I was also confused about what products to use.
I wanted original products. I wanted something that would actually help.
So I started learning.
Why Honest Skincare Naija?
Over the years, I have sold skincare products, researched skincare products and ingredients, and learnt about the research and development process behind skincare products.
I have attended skincare trainings led by professionals in the field, including people with formal academic backgrounds who work in skincare research and development.
I’ve also helped more than 100 men and women with different skincare concerns, including dark spots, pimples and concerns that had not improved despite trying several products.
I see the adverts. I hear the stories from people who were promised results that a product could not realistically deliver.
I know what it feels like to DESPERATELY look for a solution for your skin. I also know what it is like to be on the other side, selling skincare products.
That experience is a big part of why I am building Honest Skincare Naija.
